Kai Styling Studio Terms, Cutoffs & Deposit Rules

To ensure a smooth schedule for all clients, the following rules apply to every booking:

Wash & Condition Prep

Clients must arrive with hair thoroughly washed, conditioned, and detangled prior to appointment.

Booking Time Cutoffs

Long protective styles (3+ hrs) must be scheduled for morning or early afternoon slots (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM) to finish before our 6:00 PM close.

15-Min Cutoff & 50% Fee

Past 15 minutes = automatic cancellation, forfeiture of deposit, plus a 50% charge to card on file.

Unpaid Balance Rebooking Rule

If a late fee/no-show fee declines, the past-due balance must be cleared in full before any future bookings.

First-Time Client ID Required

As a private home studio, all first-time clients must provide a valid government-issued photo ID. The name on your ID must match the name on your booking. If the person who arrives does not match the ID or the booking, the appointment will be canceled and the deposit forfeited.

No Guests Policy

Guests may not accompany you to your appointment. The only exception is a child's appointment, which must be attended by a parent or guardian.

Deposit & Remaining Balance

A 50% deposit is charged when you book to hold your spot and confirm your appointment. Your deposit is paid by card at booking. Your remaining balance, plus any add-ons, is due before your style is finished. We accept Cash App and Zelle for your balance. Please have your payment ready when you arrive. Leaving the studio to get funds is not an option, and your style will not be completed until the balance is paid in full. Unpaid balances must be cleared before any future booking.

Choose a style from the menu above, then pick your date and time. A 50% deposit is required on all services.

Please note: the amount charged at booking is your 50% deposit, which holds your spot and confirms your appointment. The remaining balance, plus any add-ons, is due before your style is finished: please arrive with payment ready (Cash App or Zelle).

Time Cutoffs & Cancellation Rules

Styles 3+ hrs must start 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. 1–10 mins late = $10 fee. Past 15 mins = cancellation + 50% charge to card on file. Unpaid balances must be cleared prior to rebooking.
